the last day of movember

Another day another moustache. The last month I have sported a new famous stache every day. (Do you remember the one from the 5th of November?) I end the Movember-campaign today with this classic from  the 60's:

Yes, I borrowed the glasses too.

let me guide you to the purple skies

I only wanted to see you... There's (almost) a song everywhere.

Another colourful morning at the home office.

it was 20 years ago today

We played our first gig, warming up for the brilliant Eggstone at a "keep the kids away from the street" concert (because of the traditional November 30 clash in Lund between anti-racist groups and right wing neo-nazis/racists/nationalists).

A classic from Eggstone:

November 30 is the day the Swedish king Charles XII was killed with a shot through the head at the Fredriksten fortress at Halden, Norway. Charles XII is by many regarded as the last great Swedish king. Hence a hero to many nationalists.

postman pat came by

Home office today. A different world. I discover what happens during the day.

Like the post being delivered. Where's Pat?

it's not begining to look a lot like christmas

Our neighbourhood Christmas tree will be lit on Sunday to mark the first day of Advent.

Will there be snow on Sunday?

yesterday's news

Forgotten on the sidewalk.

Both literally and metaphorically.

home office morning

The flu spreads from colleague to colleague at work + I have too much work that needs 100 % concentration and no small-talk-interruptions.

And the view is better. So it was an easy decision to work from home today.

Wednesday, November 28

what if?

The insurance company If is situated right next to a roundabout with heavy traffic.

Loction, location, location.

today's colour template

Yucky green wall and puky yellow chairs.

Trendy or tasteless?

gigantic snowballs

Indoor snowfall. Or are they just trendy lamps in a paperish material?

Lamps. No fun.

games before practice

Another evening by the ice. This time at Rud.

What should have been 1,5 hours of bandy practice for Kristoffer ended up to be just 35 minutes because someone had forgotten to inform us that there was a game at 8 pm.

there's a tree in the temple

This it what it looks like in late November afternoon daylight – the Christmas tree at the Temple of telecom.

Oh, come let us adore it.

december sickness

Everyone's coughing and sneezing. I hide in a quiet room.

Don't wanna get sick with December just around the corner.

Monday, November 26

monday night football

Evening practice. 2 hours. 1 vs. 1.

+ 2 degrees centigrade/Celsius.

o come all ye faithful

They're preparing the Christmas tree at the Temple of telecom. Soon we will be celebrating, dancing and drinking. Glory, glory!

It's a bit hard to see, but the tree is the dark tall figure in the middle of the picture.

coming home is a poison i can't resist

Spending time "at home" is tough. I get a lot of energy from my old places but is at the same time drained both mentally and emotionally.

Give and take. Coming home is a poison I can't resist.

the future is not what it used to be

Saturday I spent an hour in my childhood Staffanstorp; "Staffanstorp - the municipality of the future". (Do municipalities really need a pay off?)

Well, it looked just as safe and boring as always. Perhaps even more so than the last time I was here.

The future is not what it used to be.

driving like a snail

Had to return the car to Hertz this morning. It's just 3 km, but it took a lifetime.

I hate queuing. And in addition snowrain. Sigh.

Saturday, November 24

shabby wisdom for sale

If you haven't got any of your own – buy your words of wisdom at the shabby chic-store around the corner.

You can fix the surface, but underneath it'll always be the same old you.

childhood memories

Where I spent hours and hours and hours playing football. It's still green.

Staffanstorp. At the end of Tenngjutarevägen.

november crows

Black crows on patrol.

Typical Scanian/skånsk November. Grey, rainy. It's just the wind that's missing.

Friday, November 23

in the midst of darkness

Took a walk around the old neighbourhood. Like walking in an oil painting by Caspar David Friedrich.

Where are the two men? Where's the moon?

Life is indeed a gigantic canvas.

romancing the tomato

Love is soft and red.

And apparently cheap..... or...?

Isn't 19.90 for 1 tomato* rather expensive? Or do I get the entire cluster? Now we're talking! Love is never what it seems at first glance...

* "st" explains that it's the price for 1 (tomato or cluster of tomatoes).

the deaf

The sign indicates that there's a school for the deaf just around the corner. But it looks like a jack.

Plug and play. And walk.

Lund, November 2012.

follow that bike

Creative use of a bike. Showing the way to a vintage store.

Lund, November 2012.

getting ready for christmas

Smalltown street with smalltown decorations.

Lund, November 2012.

the crocodile, the sheep, the elephant and the giraffe together on a balcony

An odd gang of four on a balcony in Lund.

The crocodile eats the sheep. The elephant crushes the crocodile. While the giraffe looks the other way, sighing: Such behaviour is beneath me!

remember movember

The students at Kalmar Nation in Lund celebrate Movember.

Nice to walk the streets of Lund again. If only for the weekend.

my movember t-shirt: mount stachemore

Bought at a Gap-store in Florida in July.

If I remember correctly the designer is Swedish.

the journey continues

The original blog – Skåning in Norway – has used up all included storage.
The adventure continues here. A new, delicate beginning...

Again, let's kick of with V:
