men's bandy final

Just before the game between Stabæk and Ullevål:

Stabæk lost 2-3 after sudden death. Bad game with many simple mistakes and rough play from both teams.

Minus 9 degrees.

winter returned but spring continues to fight back

A sunny Sunday in March.

Minus-degrees though.

after snow comes sunshine

Someone turned on the light.

The morning is cold but sunny!

Saturday, March 9

sitting in the car

On our way home from handball we stopped at the bandy arena to catch a glimpse of the Norwegian Championships final for women.

Tomorrow evening the men wil play their final. Guess we'll have to see that one.

a great save

After football comes handball.

Two games today. Kristoffer with a great save in game no. 1:

The boys won both: 8-2 and 12-8.

just about to score

Kristoffer is just about to score in a snowy game today.

We long for summer!

winter returned

Just when you thought it was over... It's been snowing all morning.

Hello minus degrees.

Friday, March 8

home again in sunshine

Up the semi-icy road and to the right.

A fine day to come home.

there's always a train

Took the train back from the city this afternoon. So I bought a ticket. Or at least that's what I thought. Apparently it's no longer called a ticket. It's called "impulskort" - "impulse card".

Don't plan ahead. Be spontanuous - take the train. Crazy man, crazy.

macmeeting

Another meeting room.

One apple and lots of bad fruit.

cool magnolia picture

On the wall at Hotel Jeløy Radio.

By a photographer from the Netherlands (I think).

a vase in a window

Almost like a painting.

The Oslo Fjord in the background.

Wednesday, March 6

following in the pilgrim's footsteps

Do you see the sign?

The red cross marking the old westward pilgrimage route out of Oslo/Kristiania.

the march sun

The Temple of telecom at 5.15 PM.

The evenings are slowly getting brighter.

statoil late afternoon

View from the office window.

The next door neighbour Statoil.

time for bikes

Not yet it seems.

But at least there's no ski-parking.

Tuesday, March 5

more melting news

The pilgrim sign (and route) reappears.

Holy spring, Batman!

walk away from winter, rest in spring

I really enjoy the weeks when the snow's melting.

Take a rest while earth is reborn.

slope slushy slope

Still snow: The slope just around the corner.

But for how long? It's melting – faster and faster every day.

really really bad parking

I think I'll park here - right across the pavement forcing pedestrains out in the road.

Say what..?!!!?

Weird but true....

The one who did it obviously thought it was OK. People are strange.

Monday, March 4

plug in x 2

I need more.

Just can't get enough.

started the day in an empty cafeteria

Something very strange (weird?) with places that are usually crowded – when nobody's there.

Ah, look at all the lonely chairs.

the neighbour's got an aura

Is the house alive?

A bright aura early in the morning.

Sunday, March 3

sunday evening on ice

Just after the 5th and final semi final between Stabæk and Solberg (Stabæk won 10-6).

Final bandy practice for the boys this season. Kristoffer is somewhere out there dressed in red.

football sunday

Kristoffer (23) and Jesper (light blue jersey and no cap) in  a 3 vs. 4 game.

3 hours on the artificial turf.

lots of cars and a bike on the roof

Parking early in spring.

With a bike on the roof you're always prepared.

snow, trees and the sun

A sunny spring Sunday. A network of branches and a light bulb.

Plus 7 degrees.

Saturday, March 2

bandy today

Here are 3 of the goals from today's game beween Stabæk and Høvik (boys 2002): 10-1 (3-0)

All clips are from the scond half.

spring is here

A bird sings:

I like.

the second half

Still warm and windy. Kristoffer has switched from keeping to attacking.

Didn't score this time. To be continued...

warming up in spring heat

The last regular game this season. Just one tournament left (in 2 weeks).

Kristoffer starts as keeper. Plus 9 degrees. But windy.
